Tuesday, September 3 Harrods

"With majestic turrets rising skywards; endless windows filled with the most exclusive, luxurious products in the world; an address in affluent Knightsbridge; and a clientele which includes royalty, aristocracy and celebrities, Harrods is truly a world apart from everyday living. This is the department store where dreams are created every day of the week. More than 5000 people work in over 300 departments to generate a superior world of designer fashion and sparkling jewellery, the latest technology and the most discerning furniture, the most exquisite food and the most sought after toys. This is the store which began life as a small grocer’s shop and, in less than a century, now provides more than an entire block of prime Knightsbridge retail selling space with an international reputation to die for."

This store was really overwhelming. They have everything and the place is huge. I thought it was interesting that their dress code forbade flip flops. The grocers was the most interesting area. There is a mini store thats good for souveniers too.
