When we were at the Outer Banks we went to a little shop that sold Lilly Pulitzer clothes. I nearly fell over. I dashed from rack to rack exclaiming to Aaron how enchanting each and every item was. He nodded sagely. Unfortunately... I found the prices to be a bit... pricey.

I peeked in a book about her life and it said she was the Queen of Pink and Green. Drat. I didn't realize the title had already been taken.

ooooh I LOVE Lilly....I have two of her dresses and they are my favorite thing ever. But yeah, the prices are definitely a problem. Otherwise, Lilly would probably be all I wear!

I've desperatley wanted a Bermuda Bag for the last couple of months. I especially like the Paul Frank whale fabric.

It's funny to see a mention of LP! I think her clothes are of great fun, and the color combos are very playful! And, in fact, I actually looked through her book on my last visit to the bookstore. Boy, she had some tall hair back in the day!*:)

I've adored Lilly Pulitzer's stuff for years. I've never bought any but may invest in a few pieces once my weight stabilizes. (darn kids!) The Philadelphia Flower show had an entry from the Susan G. Komen org. that used her pink & green fabrics (I think) for tablecloths & such. I thought of you.

We have a LP store here in Dallas, and on my Saturday jaunt to the village where it resides, I have what I call my weekly drool session. Yum, her clothes are adorable. Makes me wish I was a little girl again, as I think the kids clothes are just to die...

I was so excited when this year they handed out free cotton scarves designed by Lilly at Race for the Cure. They were pink and green! She also designed a silk scarf last year for Komen, chances are she'll do another one. They were pretty reasonably priced and for a good cause. Be on the lookout! :)

Different subject for a minute - what kind of work does Aaron do? Is he still in the military? Reserves? Just being nosy.

Congratulations on your marriage - the wedding looks like it was everything YOU two wanted it to be. Good for you! Looks like it was a lot of fun, the honeymoon too!

Someone as talented as you could make your own "Lilly" dress in a similar fabric, I'm sure. --Elaine

Oh my god. Was the place called 'Islands' and in a teeny cute shopping center in Duck? I just went to the outer banks a month ago, and that store had a TRACTOR BEAM on my friend and me. I couldn't afford the clothes but I bought a bracelet or something every single time we passed by.

Thanks for the info LJC! :)

If you love Lilly Pulitzer... You'll love this site!

www.thepalmonpark.com

They're a Lilly Pulitzer Signature Store in Boca Grande Florida. They are always one of the first to load the latest season on their site, with all the fabric swatches.

I love Lilly too! AND I think your site is cool.
