There are never many leftovers from my family's Thanksgiving dinner. So this year when Wegman's had their 17 cents a pound turkey sale, Aaron and I got one and put in the freezer. We are roasting him tonight. After a week of drooling over everyone else's turkey salad sandwiches at lunch... I too will have turkey leftovers to enjoy!

later note- Thank you to everyone that had left turkey roasting advice a few weeks ago in my comments! The turkey came out great!

  1. I read your Blog profile and see that you are interested in art, photography, and writing. May I invite you to see my blog since we are interested in some of the same disciplines?

I have been happily married for 24 years and have a 16 year old daughter, and I do not share my e-mail address, so I hope that you see that I am not up to anything except exchanging ideas.

  2. May I suggest my favorite use for left-over turkey: turkey quezadillas. I use flour tortillas and grate the cheese prior to frying (because it melts quicker). I serve it with sour cream and salsa and it is super quick and delicious.

  3. Looks good LJC! Nice and golden...

My husband gets a tukery from work every year (a UPS tradition) and I'm thinking of roasting it for a little turkey dinner party.

What did you fix to go with yours?
