Nearly a year after I first started getting Cottage Living magazine and was inspired to add shutters and windowboxes to my house, to achieve a "cottage look", the vision complete.

Aaron hung the window boxes today. I don't know if my house is going to be mistaken for a cottage now, but it does look nicer.

Nice job. Did you recently change the color of your house? It looks a little greener than I remember seeing before. Maybe it's because of the windowboxes. They are gonna be really pretty when the flowers grow. I want one. Are you gonna water the one on the upper story window through the window or do you have another way to do it?

Elaine - I think the house photographs different colors depending on the lighting... if it is sunnier or whatnot. I have been watering all the boxes through the windows and it works pretty well.
