Tina had been raving about these popsicles she gets at the hospital. This evening, when Chuck went to get her one, he got me one too. Yes, it was very tasty, but I was more interested in the wrapper. The popsicle claims to be "A Quiescently Frozen Confection". Quiescently? I had no idea what that meant. The dictionary says quiescent means "Being quiet, still, or at rest; inactive."

I find this very strange. So it's a quietly frozen confection? This is going to bother me.

  1. Don't all popsicles say that? Or perhaps I just buy weird ones? Who knows. ;)

In any case, I've always figured that just means they don't stir it around while they freeze them.

  3. Maybe they meant "quintessentially"?
