Here is what Aaron and I made for Christmas gifts this year.

gift

Aaron turned the acorn and mushroom ornaments on his lathe and I made the teacup candles.

teacup

I found the teacups at yardsales and flea markets throughout the year. Here are pictures of how I made the teacup candles.

acorn

Aaron stained the top of the acorns and mushrooms and added the hooks to finish them off. Here are a few pictures of Aaron making the ornaments.

mushrooms

I love the mushrooms. I have plans for him to make more for me to paint. I hope our friends like their gifts this year!

Those gifts are so neat!! I didn't even get around to cards this year. I admire your ability to get stuff done.

And I LOVE the little mushrooms. So cute!

I love the acorn. I would buy tons of those to put on my Christmas tree. So cute! Would also have been great if you could have engrave or burn the year on them.

What a great idea!

Thank you!

I think we just might start up an Etsy Shop... I will certainly post about it if we do!

How creative. I made your apple butter for a 2nd time this year. Your presents sure beat our annual cookies.

The teacup candles remind me of delicious strawberry sorbet!
