The song in the Stewie video is "New Soul" by Yael Naim. You might recognize it from the Apple Air commercial

Food your cat should not eat.

Food your dog should not eat.

(some food items to note... chocolate, grapes & raisins, macadamia nuts, mushrooms, onions & garlic, persimmons)

Here is the Dutch Baby recipe...

4 eggs
1 cup flour
1 cup milk
1/8 teaspoon salt
4 tablespoons butter

Cut butter into a cast iron pan and heat in a 400 degree oven until the butter melts. While butter is melting, mix other ingredients together. Pull the pan out of oven, pour batter into it and return to the oven. Bake until puffy and browned, about twenty minutes.

  1. I make my dutch baby batter in a blender.
Put in the eggs first, whirl until light yellow and frothy. Then add the rest of the ingredients. I just use softened butter.
I pour it eihter into a cast iron pan or two cake pans depending on how much I'm making.

  2. This came down through my family as "wazoo" and we do it in a big bundt cake pan - more crispy edges that way. Mmmmmm. Always eaten with shredded cheddar and/or (I prefer "and") maple syrup.

  6. this may be a really stupid question but i know nothing about cooking... can you use soymilk instead of milk for this? or in general for recipes like this? or do you need actual milk? i'm lactose intolerant so i always wonder if i can sub my soymilk in or if i need to just break down and go to the store...

  7. I just looked at the list of foods that a dog should not eat. They list "string" as one of these items. I was not aware that string was not a food! Now I know that my dogs can't eat it, but I have a new option for dinner!
