Birthday Outing

Last week we celebrated Aprille's birthday by going to the South Wedge Farmers Market!

I love granola that this bakery, Small World Bakery, makes - and now they are making kimchee.

My mom said that this kind of kimchee that doesn't have a lot of hot pepper is what they call "water kimchee". Aaron was very interested and got a jar.

I was interested in the brownies that had sesame seeds on. I love sesame seeds so I got one to try. I only got a chance to nibble at it but it was good.

Afterwards we went to the new Napa wood-fire pizzeria they opened by Boulder Coffee and the South Wedge Farmer's Market.

The most delicious thing at Napa? Vanilla bean lemonade! So good! Happy Birthday Week Aprille!

  1. I had a blast! The granola we bought is soooo tasty (orange ginger), but I ran out of yogurt to eat it with. J and I plan to try a vanilla bean lemonade/ strawberry drink hybrid. mmmmm.

  2. One of Bobby Flay's Throwdowns was about brownies - and the brownie baker put salt on top of her brownies. I love the sweet salty thing so I'm very intrigued.

Thanks for the tip on Small World Bakery!

  3. I just realized all the pictures weren't showing up... fixes them.

Stefani - I like the idea of salt on chocolate brownies!
