After our excursion to Jungfrau, we felt like we had just been teased. We had super views on the way up the mountain but the clouse obscured the view at the top.
We decided to try again but this time with a trip to Mt. Titlis.
I was a little nervous we were in for the same story... looking down from the cable car we saw green hills and trees, but looking up was all white clouds.
To get to the top we took three cable cars!
This time we were not disapointed. As we neared the peak we emerged from the clouds to see blue, blue skies and everyone cheered!
Jaw dropping. That is a glacier down there!
We were ABOVE the clouds!
Mountain after mountain.
Snow and ice everywhere!
At the top was ski lift called the Ice Flyer you could ride over to another peak.
After that we walked out onto the Cliff Walk... a suspension bridge over the glacier.
It swayed and bounced a little.
But what a view!!!
It looked like another world up there.
This excursion was so totally worth it! A once in a lifetime experience.
