Day 19: 30 Days of Creativity - Father's Day Tribute

We had a cool campaign at Kodak where we asked for pictures of Dads on Facebook then featured them all week on the kodak.com homepage. I submitted a picture of my dad on the beach with Wally. It's on the kodak.com homepage today and on the Kodak billboard in NYC Times Square.

Happy Father's Day!

Creative Father's Day idea - good for Day 19 of 30 Days of Creativity.

Day 2: 30 Days of Creativity - new LJC cookie recipe - Dad's Super Mountain Cookies

For Day 2 of 30 Days of Creativity, I made cookies.

Not just any cookies.

I have been experimenting with cookie recipes for awhile now. My dad is what you might call a connoisseur of cookies, so he has been testing them and providing feedback. For him more is better so each time it's a new ingredient to be added "How about raisins AND coconut?"

And so I present to you Dad's Super Mountain Cookies. They have oats, chocolate chips, walnuts, raisins, coconut and... my final genius ingredient... pretzel bits!

Here is my recipe.

Dad's Super Mountain Cookies

2 sticks of butter

1 cup of brown sugar

1/2 cup of white sugar

2 eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 1/2 cups flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup oats

1 cup chocolate chips

1 cup raisins

1 cup coconut

1 cup chopped walnuts

1 cup pretzel bits

Cream together softened butter and sugars. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Mix in flour, baking soda and salt. Stir in everything else. Bake those babies for 14 min at 350 degrees.(you may have to adjust that time - my oven is weird)

Happy Father's Day

Lookit me and my dad! I was a little corker. So pleased with my first pair of blue jeans! Standing there as though I was a master raker. Hah! Happy Father's Day!
