It is strawberry season again, and I love to go strawberry picking. That way you can choose each perfect sweet berry that goes into your container.

I also enjoy sitting in the field and eating them. They should probably weigh me when I get there and when I leave.

    Long time listener, first time caller. The strawberry picking looks fun! The picture of the ladybug reminded me of something I learned recently, that the dots correspond to their age. Don't know if this is urban legend.

  2. Mmmmmmmmm! Love fresh dark red ones. We did some berry picking earlier this year down South. ;) It was fun, and the kids enjoyed it. We never could grow them in Texas, so that's one nice thing about being out of state.

  6. i live in houghton, ny (1 1/2 hours south of Rochester). we've been wanting to go strawberry picking and aren't sure where to go! could you tell me where you guys went?

  8. We went to Gro Moore too. They were juicy and delicious this year. The two of us picked 12 quarts in 45 minutes -- very easy picking.
