Degas
Today Aaron and I went to see the Dega exhibit at Memorial Art Gallery . The show is over on the fifth so we cut it rather close.
I enjoyed looking at the bronze casts up close... I could even see the artist's fingerprints. I did not know that the originals were all wax and clay and the bronze casts didn't happen until after Dega's death.
I have been trying to find a picture online of what the original Little Dancer looked like with the skin colored wax and real hair, but can't seem to find one.
