Thing I Didn't Know I Couldn't Survive Without #49

The soft ice cream maker. Joel got this for me on my birthday. No no... it doesn't actually make ice cream. It takes regular ice cream and makes it into SOFT ice cream.

I used to do this as a kid with my spoon, mixing it furiously... a virtual ice cream whipping frenzy, to achieve the consistancy of soft serve ice cream.

This was cooler.

  1. That bowl of ice cream looks yummy...does your arm get tired from mixing?

  2. omg, I thought I was the only strange kid that wouldn't eat her ice cream until it was stirred into a perfectly soft mixture, slightly melting at the edges of the bowl. I might have to check out this contraption—fancy!

  3. When I first saw the picture I thought it was a breast pump. LOL!

  4. Ha, I too thought it was a breast pump for a moment. (& I also like to stir my ice cream until it's soft!)

Now I must go pick some wineberries to eat w/ my ice cream!
