Aaron scootered to the Public Market today to meet us for tacos. Dear sweet tacos....mmmmmm... anyhow... he surprised me with two month wedding anniversary roses and best of all a little notebook he found with a couple on a blue scooter. What are the chances!?

I have been out on the scooter a couple of times and when I am not visualizing what it would be like if we hit some loose gravel and we fell over and we went skidding along the asphalt with my poor body pinned under the scooter and having every last scrap of skin ground off and shredding my flesh to the bone... it's actually quite fun. *nervous laughter*

    I get those same thoughts running through my head when I went on a motorcycle ride with my boyfriend. I know he's a safe driver but it's the car drivers on the road that I'm not too fond of.

    I'm sorry that you have all these freakish accident thoughts going through your head. At least he doesn't ride around on a motorcycle! Maybe you should get him some protective gear - do they make that sort of thing for scooter drivers?

    In June, for our fourth anniversary, we rented a moped ... kind of like a scooter, I guess. Anyway, we wrecked! My husband skinned up his knees quite a bit, and while I escaped injury, my legs kind of hurt. It was nasty ~ we were going around a corner. Sorry, probably shouldn't have told you that. LOL! But we had a blast with the moped ... it was SO much fun ... with the wind on our faces and cruising around the island ... ahhh, it was great! :) Enjoy your scooter!
