When I came home from the airport, the bushes that used to be in front of the house... were now laying on the curb waiting for garbage pickup. Aaron had taken a fit and ripped them out. I believe a pick axe was involved.

He did replace the bushes with some really nice flowers... daisies and mums, so I won't complain. But it just goes to show what can happen when you leave someone home alone for a week.

  2. i came home after a vacation with family (hubby was invited, but declined), to a ripped up backyard. No grass, just dirt, and the fences were torn down. Everything's been replaced with new and better stuff, but it was still a shock.

  3. I think Aaron should be forced to make a project page.

The flowers do look lovely, I love fall flowers. They also make your house look *really big*!

  4. I agree with emily c. - the flowers look better. Bushes are a lot of upkeep if you want them to look good. Flowers give you more options, plus they are so much easier to change and give your house a new look. (potted poinsettias for Christmas? I hear they are pretty hardy and might even withstand the cold.)

  5. When I get left home alone there always a risk of major change. I once sold my sweetie's computer desk and replaced it with another one while he was away.
