Toronto was crawling with Smart Cars . They are so cute we couldn't help pointing and shouting "Look, look!" everytime one rolled by. Aaron sat in one and he actually fit! Note the difference when Aaron stands next to one as opposed to when I stand next to one. It's like the Ames Room that gives the optical illusion that you are a giant when you stand at one end.

I hope we get them in the US soon. I am so happy to see the car companies putting out little cars like the Honda Fit.

  1. We LOVE our Honda Fit! So versatile and spaceous inside and fun to drive. (We bought the fourth one in USA.) Those Smart Cars look cute enough to park in our closet!

  2. Jenny,

They are in the US!!! Mercedes is selling them down here in Charlotte, NC. I followed one home the other day. Pretty cool! Have you seen the Roadster? Those are awesome!

  3. I checked one of those Honda Fits out recently when we were at the dealer ... my CR-V has 93K miles and has NEVER given us a bit of problem, so I want another Honda for sure. But I think I'll be getting the lime green Honda Element ... I love the vinyl seats ... so nice for doggies and muddy bikes!!

  4. We got a Toyota Prius a few months ago and LOVE it. Our second car sits in our driveway unless I really need to drive it. We opted for the Prius because of the extra space. Plenty of room for the two munchkins and possibly a baby later. LOVE it!

  5. We saw those Smart cars everywhere while we were in Japan! The craziest thing was that some people actually used Smart as their Coke delivery cars. Very interesting.

  10. I've only seen one smart car here in Northern Virginia, and its always parked in the parking lot of this one shopping center. I'm guessing its either very subtle advertising, or someone who works at one of the shops owns it. But it is very cool. Much smaller than I anticipated.
