I was feeling so good about knitting my mittens that I tried another non-square item... a hat. I used Lion Brand Landscapes wool and a pattern from this card deck.

I was excited to try out my pom pom maker to top off my hat. Stewie is obsessed with my hat's pom pom. Sometimes I let him wear the hat and that makes him feel better.

I love the hat-great colors. I am not so sure Stewie can pull it off though!

Your blog entry about bring home dairy products in the the truck bed full of snow made me laugh. I'm jealous. Here in Georgia we had the windows open today. *sigh*

He did get the first pom pom that I made too small. I am still picking up pom pom shred up around the house.
