lobster

I got into Boston last night and already I have had lobster and the yummiest clam chowder at the Union Oyster House and an ice cream injected cupcake at Trani. Thank you to everyone who has left me recommendations! You are the best! I can tell this is going to be an awesome weekend.

We are in the North End and I love it. There is a cute cobblestone street with pubs and cafes around every corner. Couldn't be cuter or more charming. Heading out now to explore...

welcome to boston. one of my favorite places is anna's taqueria in brookline on beacon street (not far from party favors). simple, yummy, burritos the size of your head.

and if you're in the north end you have to get a cannoli. any place in the north end is good.

That is my old neighborhood... I used to live on Margin Street back in 1994 when I was a student. Did you get by the Old North Church? I used to be a tour guide there as well... such a delightful area, and what a treat for me to get to walk to work, all the while sniffing the italian breads. I know it has changed some, but I'm sure still as quaint.

Enjoy your weekned!! Sox game perhaps? I'm so jealous of your weekend right now.

Just found out there's a new cupcake bakery in Davis Square (red line) called kickasscupcakes.
I hope to check it out soon.

YAYNESS!! I'm so glad you guys made it to Union OH! I love that place (as if you couldn't tell by my recommendation!)... did they give you the little tour, and tell you about how Abraham Lincoln and JFK both fancied that restaurant?

Love the pics with the lobstah... ;)
