Wednesday, October 03, 2007 Autumn means picking apples on our lunch hour.  Honeycrisps are super good this year. Here it seems like they jacked up the price because they're so popular! Of course, I still bought them. I can't find any orchards here in NC either - I even tried to look for one when we went to the NC mountains last weekend, and couldn't find any close enough to where we were staying. We always picked them at McPherson's orchard in LeRoy. They had an awesome apple cider mill too!
