santa

A reader asked if I would share some pictures of my Christmas decorations. I would love to!

santa

These are pictures of my vintage Santas. Aaron thinks some of them look creepy, but I love the nostalgia they invoke.

sleigh

These little plastic Santas in sleighs with reindeer are the best.

Ho, ho, ho!

I will have more pictures in the days to come AND pictures of this year's handmade gifts and trimmings.

My grandmother had some of those Santas. Seeing them brings back memories.

I have at least 5 of those Santa's from when I was a kid! I also love them...they remind me of my Grandmother.

My in-laws have a couple of creepy Santas...our favorite is the one ride a bicycle and it pants are coming off...ok that bad but it is sort of cute. They also have a creepy elf that we always put in the back of the tree because it is just that creepy.

I'm with your husband on this one. Ever since I was little those Santa's creeped me out.

My grandma gave me a whole bunch like that but I won't put them up because they creep out my kids. I think they're cute now but I remember also being scared of them as a kid.

In the first picture, is that a mushroom? Very cute!

oh yes ljc..I can't wait to see what this year's theme is going to be. I have an idea but I wonder what you made to go with the idea. Merry Christmas!

Man, now THAT is retro funk. :) I've seen many of those before over the years. My dad had these great felt ornament animals also with real fur... the lion had real fur mane, the deer had a tiny bit of fur on his tail, the squirrel's tail was fur. Soooo cute. They were my favorite things tucked in amoung the BUBBLE lights. Hahaha. My son has a creepy bubble light tree in his room with our reject ornaments on it that we can't bring ourselves to throw away yet. :)

I want to subscribe to you and for some reason blogbridge is giving me a hard time. Can you email me your feed address, Jenny?

I love those santas! I have one on my tree. My grandma passes recently and I took a few of her ornaments, my santa was one of them. I think they're adorable.
