Thursday, March 13, 2008 Sharpies are my writing implement of choice. I thought it was brilliant when they came out with the retractable Sharpies. I also like the Mini Sharpies. I use the Ultrafine Sharpies for writing my day to day notes. I remember standing in the middle of Wegmans with the Ultrafine Sharpie cap in my mouth scratching out "egg noodles" wishing they made them retractable too. A few weeks later I am watching TV and there is the pen I dreamed of being hawked by David Beckham. A Retractable Ultrafine! But guess what? I went to Sharpie's website to check them out and found something even better. PERSONALIZED SHARPIES! How cool is that? Here are a few I made. Dreamy. People at work think I'm crazy but I just feel like adding colour to my workplace. I do however wish they were the fine tip kind but then again those ones always dry out on me. Veronica - finding the name of the paint is going to take some searching. I can tell you that the brand is Sherwin Williams and they can match the color of just about anything. Nicole - I use Adobe Illustrator to create my characters and then I combine them with photos in Adobe Photoshop. I design my characters from scratch, there isn't a program for creating them.
