I have been very good about remembering my reusable shopping bags lately and plastic bags hardly ever make their way into our house. I was still collecting the occasonal plastic produce bag though, so I ordered these reusable produce bags from ecobags.

They are super light so they don't affect the total weight of your produce. I used to only have to remember my shopping list when I went to the grocery store. I am accumilating more and more things I have take with me!

  1. How did the grocery store react to these? I have been wondering about how to avoid the plastic produce bags. Somethings I just leave loose in the cart. But somethings you really do need a bag of some sort...

  3. Etsy seller remarket makes and sells these and they are fabulous. I have never had a problem using them at my local grocery store, a Kroger.

  5. I want to get away from the pastic grocery bags at the store, but I use them for my trash (they're basically free and just the right size). So, I'm curious, what do you use to throw away your garbage if not a plastic grocery bag?

  7. The cashier at Wegmans didn't even blink when I used these bags. No problem at all. The stickers go right on the bag and peel off later.

We don't use regular plastic bags for Oscar poo anymore. We use biodegradable bags. We are also transitioning to biodegradable bags for garbage.

  9. Now when we go grocery shopping it's like an event to get everything there, I even have a coupon binder now.

I was wondering what to do about the produce bags. I like these, good idea!
