Getting around in Beijing

There are lots of bikes, mopeds and scooters in Beijing. Not as many as there used to be I am told.

I saw this orange scooter with pandas on it outside the Olympic Green.

Domo insisted on trying out this moped we saw. Not quite his size.

I like the Hello Kitty mudflap on this scooter. I wonder what the sign above it says?

  1. The sign read "don't honk." (lit. don't push/press the horn.) Do people honk a bunch on scooters?

    I heard there are Hello Kitty and other Sanrio character editions of scooters there as well. I'd go crazy if I see them.
