I almost forgot about this gingerbread house we made at the holidays. We used Wegman's pre-baked gingerbread pieces which made it super easy.
Lots of royal icing holding that sucker together!
More pictures on my project gallery.

Aaron got me this calendar for my office after Christmas. Domo calendar. Pretty funny right?
Now take a closer look. Anything look out of order? Look at today's date. Today is supposed to be the 28th. This caused some confusion for me last week before I realized what was going on.
I am nervous to see what the coming months may have.
We got Stewie a cat condo and the third level has a hole cut out for the kitties to bat at the toys through. But what does our cat do? He lays across the hole and lets his belly pokes through.
Kitty belly.
Someone asked what I use to carry my cupcakes. This is a very good question, because the transportation of cupcakes is a very serious matter.
I use a 24 count Pink Bialetti Cupcake Carrier.
I haven't lost a cupcake yet.
So on Monday we found out that the bug was totaled. *sniff* We weren't too surprised because the airbags deployed and those are pretty pricey to replace. The worst was when we went to the lot to get the plates and it had already been towed to a scrap auction and all there was left in the parking space was shards of green plastic.
Tuesday we were at the VW lot looking at bugs and I spotted a little "previously loved" (used) grey Mini Cooper amongst the VW's.
I took it for a test drive and then this evening I took it home. It is about as cute as a bug and handles really well.
I still love bugs and will probably get another one someday, but I wanted to try something new for awhile.
Aaron is excited because it has six speeds. I like the sunroof.
I was really torn today. Today is both National Pie Day and National Soup Swap Day. Being on my pie kick, that is what I went with. I made four mini cherry pies and took two to work to share.
Here are some of my pie plates. I love ones that have the recipe on the bottom. My mom told me she just found me a pecan one too!
I think I am still going to do another soup swap this winter... it just won't be on the "official" day.
This weekend, when we were at our favorite breakfast spot... I noticed this on the table. Wednesday is National Pie Day! Pies are starting to edge in a little on cupcakes popularity for me.
We just watched Waitress and she made pies like Mermaid Marshmallow Pie and Falling in Love Chocolate Mousse Pie. Boy was I hungry for pie after that.
And of course, my favorite show Pushing Daisies always had lots of pies at the Pie Hole.
I have never made poached eggs, but I bet I would like them. I have read that it is hard to make poached eggs. NotMartha has written extensively on the subject.
I spotted these PoachPods at Wegmans and I am wondering how they would do. Anyone out there tried them? They sure are cute.
There were some amazing Martha products at Michaels for Halloween and Christmas, so I was looking forward to seeing what they had for Valentines Day.
Not a whole lot is the answer. Usually there is an entire freestanding display of holiday craft goodness, but this holiday only got an endcap.
I am hoping it's just because they are busily working away on Easter stuff!
We went to a party this evening for the airing of The Celebrity Apprentice episode featuring Kodak.
Check out Aaron and I in Donald masks.
And get a load of this! I was standing around munching on chicken wings and next thing I know I am in front of a TV camera. I was on the 11 o'clock news chattering away! Crazy!
Everyone at the office is very excited about tomorrow night's episode of The Celebrity Apprentice.
The task is going to feature the Kodak All-in-One Inkjet printers and it is going to be awesome.
You can read more about it at the Kodak Celebrity Apprentice website. There is also a downloadable printable Apprentice CD calendar and Donald Trump mask.
Watching
We went to see Juno and Enchanted. They couldn't have been more different. Loved the pop-up book scenes in Enchanted.
Listening
I just downloaded "Anyone Else But You" from the Juno soundtrack. I wanted the Moldy Peaches version but you had to buy the whole album so I just got the version where Michael Cera and Ellen Page sing it.
Eating
Williams Sonoma marshmallows I got at their after Christmas sale.
Busy
Trying to get back to normal after a week in Vegas
Last of CES
I liked these cute little crocheted cell phone charms.
These little piggys were iPod speakers.
If you like Guitar Hero, you will love Air Guitar.
There were flat screen tv's aplenty at CES. There were tv's so big, I don't think I have a wall in my house big enough to hang them on.
Encounters at CES
I ran into DMC from Run DMC at a booth.
Natasha Bedingfield was performing at the Sony Booth.
And I got to meet DisneyMike!
Third Day at CES
I made sure to stop by the Skullcandy booth. Their headphones not only sound amazing but they are so cute.
Pink or green... pink or green?
Pink.
They had graffiti artists, rappers and breakdancers at their booth.
And the best giveaways... like this skull necklace.
