Printable lists

We needed some printable projects at work for New Years with an organization theme so I designed these To Do and grocery lists.

I made a cute version, which is my personal favorite. Who doesn't love waving carrots?

And this modern looking dotty design.

Tina asked me to make these for her in bulk to help her get stuff done.

You can download the PDF's and make some for yourself here... Kodak Tips & Projects Center.

I think cute bulldog clips make them extra cute.

Pet of the Week

If you are looking for a dog you might consider Brinie! Look at her coat! She looks like a slice of marble cake!

Brinie #6396229

Brinie is a 1-year-old shepherd mix and a great dog. She is a smart girl who is very playful, loves to play fetch, and loves to play with dog toys. She would do best in a home without children under 12. She must meet all resident dogs before going home, and she will need to attend obedience classes. Come meet her today!

P.S. Lilah the cat was adopted!

Domino and Zooey

I read today that domino magazine is closing. I feel kinda bad because well...

I saw that Zooey Deschanel was on the cover so I bought an issue.

I am a big Zooey fan.

I even like her band She and Him.

So I thought "Cool! Pictures of Zooey's house." Um, no it was only one room. So I was miffed. I mumbled about it for a few days.

Then I heard Domino was closing. And now I feel bad.

BubbleTweet

Today Tina discovered an app called BubbleTweet that lets you add little videos to your twitters.

When I got home I did a few of Oscar eating leftover pancakes.

Oscar pancake 1 and Oscar pancake 2

Then Stewie had to get in on the action and show off his "I forgot my pants" t-shirt. Only he is a whole lotta cat to fit in one small circle.

Year of the Ox

Happy Lunar New Year! It's the year of the Ox! That's me! It's my year!

(I know this is a picture of a cow with horns. I couldn't find one I have taken of an ox/)

I told Aaron I should get gifties today since it's my year. I don't think I convinced him.

Warning: my lunar sign is the ox and my zodiac sign is the taurus. Not that I am into astrology, but that seems like a whole lot of stubborness in one person.

No Pants

We really wanted to get this shirt for Oscar but they didn't have his size.

Next candidate? Stewie! He forgets his pants all the time too!

I really can't look at him in this without laughing.

the new Goradia

Shruti and Vishal's little girl, Anaya, has arrived! Look at all that hair! She fell asleep when Aaron held her. I think babies like high altitudes.

Check out the look she's giving me. "You are soooo not my mom and you smell like oranges. Hand me back."

Welcome to the world lil' squirt. You're gonna have fun with this gang.

Valentine Candlesticks

Aaron won these candlesticks at his office holiday lunch. I was going to put them away for the season, but he pointed out they would work for Valentine's Day too.

He was right. Especially with pink candles. (which are harder to find than you would think) I love pink and red together!

Valentine Owls

Those darn owls from Target are taking over my house.

Window clings.

Placemats. Window jelly clingy things.

Blanky. Very soft blanky.

Good thing Aaron doesn't mind pink. Well, really he got me all this stuff, so he can't complain.

Fresh jewelry

I am slightly obsessed with making jewelry with supplies from fresh jewelry designs. I used the term "making jewelry" loosely because really about all it entails is attaching a ring to a really cute pendant and stringing it on a necklace.

Well I did loop some small charms onto earring loops. Again, not too hard. They turn out so cute because the fresh pieces are so cute!

Here is a necklace I made. I get the fresh jewelry bits at Michaels.

I told Tina I would "make" her a necklace too. This was a little more work since I used wire and crimps but still... Tiffany won't be calling anytime soon.

Cocopop

A little bit ago the Pittsford Wegmans got an interesting addition to their tea bar.

It's a Coco Pop Machine that pops out yummy corn/wheat/rice cakes. It's really entertaining to watch... they really do pop out of the machine... so much so that there are plastic guards to keep them from flying across the store.

The machine website says a characteristic is "show and tell"... that it attracts customers via all 5 senses. This is so true. You cannot help but be drawn in by the loud popping noise and popping action. Aaron and I stood and watched it for quite awhile.

They are so tasty too. Our favorite way to eat them is with peanut butter and sliced bananas on top.

They are low calorie, no preservatives, zero fat/cholesterol and no sugar. Nice!

Pet of the Week

Lilah - 6293572

Lilah was brought to Lollypop Farm because she was abandoned by her previous owners. She was pregnant when she arrived at the shelter, so she was placed in foster care, and now she has finished raising her kittens. She was a great mom -- and now it's her turn to be taken care of! Lilah hopes you will stop by for a visit! - Lollypop Farm

Cupcake Stand

Aaron got me two of these little glass stands for Christmas. Perfect for cupcake display!

The cupcake inside is from Starbucks. It wasn't in there for very long, I'll admit.

Fatboys

Aaron and I stopped in at Nook today and since they were having a 50% off sale, we picked up a Fatboy dog bed for Oscar.

As you can see Stewie likes it a lot too.

I am thrilled because the Fatboy is super durable and I can wipe it down after Oscar has been drooling bisquit slobber on it.

That is... when Stewie hasn't laid claim to it.

Winter plates

I got this table runner and two dishes at Target during the Xmas clearance, but I think they are perfect for winter too. I love the tree design!

Snowman

Late one night Aaron discovered the snow was perfect for snowman making so we made one for our front yard.

I think he turned out really nice.

All the wind has taken a toll on him though and he is starting to lean to one side. Looks like he is dancing... Woot Woot!

Pet of the Week

Might i suggest that you adopt Goldie, then order one of these wigs and then you can call her Goldielocks!

Goldie - #5764926

Goldie is a sweet and friendly dog with good leash manners. She would be happiest in a home without children under age 12, and she needs to meet any dogs in the household before going home with an adopter, just to make sure they’ll get along OK. This great dog is eligible for our Seniors-for-Seniors program; approved adopters age 60 and over can take her home free of charge! - Lollypop Farm

Valentine Owls at Target

We were checking out the Christmas clearance sales at Target over a week ago when I noticed they already had their Valentine's Day stuff out. And the theme is OWLS! Can you believe it?!

Hmmm-mmmm! Pink owls!

Dog Park

Aaron and I were in the Vegas FAO Schwarz and saw these roly poly stuffed animals from Dog Park.

Aaron got me one which I really thought was a cat, but the tag said he is a pomeranian. It was challenging to wrestle him onto the plane, but I got him home!

Cirque Du Soleil

This evening we had tickets to see Cirque Du Soleil O at the Bellagio. I have wanted to see this show for a long time. I heard they had a pool on stage.

The show was amazing! I keep trying to figure out how they did it. No pictures allowed... all I have is this shot of the stage. It was amazing though... you'll just have to take my word for it.

The Fountains at Bellagio

My favorite spot in Vegas!

All the better that Aaron is here now!
