I like setting them up by the water.
Multiple cairns!
Some geese came by to see what I was up to.
I think they were pretty impressed.
"Hey guys! C'mon over here and look at these rocks!"

love it! how do you find those type of rocks? I have been looking for the rounder/smoother rocks to make rock pets for my little girl:)
Those just happen to be the kind of rocks that were in the park. I tend to see them mostly around lakes.
I love your cairns girl. I gotta go build myself some...
HA! I do the same thing when we go to the Redwoods every year..... Sigh. I love camping.
I just saw some cool ones where they put three or four small rocks in between the big rocks. Gotta try that! A challenge!
