Amish Cinnamon Buns

I brought my Amish Friendship Bread starter with me to the beach. I didn't use it to make bread this time though. I used it to make cinnamon rolls!

The buns were nice but not as ooey gooey as I would have liked. If I can get the starter back to Rochester alive, I want to try making these again and I'm going to tweak the recipe.

  1. The filling I use for a 9x13 pan of rolls (24 rolls, one inch width when cutting from log) is: 1/3 cup soft butter, ½ cup brown sugar, ½ cup white sugar, and 3 tablespoons cinnamon. For comparison! Looks yummy, I'll be making some next week for work-birthdays.
