Tonight we had tickets to the Lumineers. I couldn't believe how many people were at CMAC to see them. It was raining but the lawn area was still packed! Luckily we had seats under the roof, because I become cat-like about getting wet.
I always show up and have no clue who is opening. I was thrilled to find out Cold War Kids were opening.
The Lumineers were awesome!
It feels like it has been endlessly raining. At least I don't have to water our plants.

Today is Aaron and my nine year anniversary. He got me this beautiful bouquet!
The theme for a nine year anniversary is pottery and since we try and stick to the themes I got Aaron a "clay" target book and Aaron got me a a pottery class at Genesee Center for Arts and Education.
I raided Aaron's rhubarb plants for juicing today.
Apples, rhubarb, carrots and strawberrys! Great combo.
NOTE: Here is the juicer we use - a Waring Pro. It is affordable, works great, and is easy to clean. We have now been using it for two years and it's still going!
I finished my second letterpress project... personalized book plates. They are printed on paper with an adhesive back so they stick inside the book. Don't be a turkey... heh heh.
It seems like it's late in the season but we are just now planting our flowers and garden. The weather has been so chilly there were still frost warnings even up to very recently.
We planted a new flower bed (cutting garden) along our brick path and filled our outdoor planters.
We also planted herbs, flower boxes, strawberries and our veggie garden.
The helper pugs were a big help with the planting.
Stewie got to come outside too. He was zero help.
I guess I don't know my own strength because I broke my second hand shovel. Super gardener.
I heard the AMC movie theater in Webster had done some renovations recently. We hadn't seen Iron Man 3 yet, so I suggested we go see it there. Right away I noticed that they did a lot with the lobby. Opened it up and redid the ticket and snack counters.
They put in the Coke machines where you can mix your own soda. Great idea!
I however, went for the White Cherry Icee! Treat Yo-self.
The real kicker was when we went into the theater. They replaced all the old seats with reclining seats.
They. Are. Amazing. The aisles are double wide so you can extend the leg rest and fully recline. I have never been so comfortable in a movie theater. I don't think we can go to any other theater now.
