Thanks to rain showers this week there was no snowboarding today. Aaron and I went to the zoo instead. Seemed like a good day to go see the polar bears. Everyone was out! The tiger, elephants, wolves. Everyone except the penguins! The keeper washing out their area said it was too cold for them. What?! I thought penguins loved the cold! You always see pictures of them sitting on ice chunks. Aaron had to drag me away, I was ready to start yelling at them to waddle their little butts out there. Yep. Was gonna make a scene at the penguin compound.
Other than heckling penguins at the zoo, this was an entirely agreeable Sunday. Zoo visit, kabobs and baklava at Aladins and then "The Wier" at Geva.
