Pale Food

I picked up Jell-O's new Magical Jell-O gelatin. The jello is fruit flavored (Surprisin' Strawberry and Grape Sensation) but is clear with blue stars and yellow moons floating in it. I can't wait to try it. I might use my jello mold I got at the holidays that came free with four packs of Jello.

I wonder what it is with making our food devoid of color. A little while ago Ocean Spray came out with White Cranberry Juice. And at lunch Tina was talking about the white asparagus she had in Brazil. It is quite a process to make white asparagus. It has to grow completely underground hidden from sunlight unlike regular green asparagus.

So I guess they grew this magic jello underground huh?
