Aaron and I are going through London food withdrawl. I got really excited when I found scone mix and clotted cream at Wegmans.

We are having Chuck and Tina over for Welsh Rarebit and scones with clotted cream. Welsh Rarebit is a small piece of genius. Cheese sauce broiled on toast... what's not to like?

  1. Clotted cream and scones - yummy!!! I have the best, fool-proof scone recipe of all time that I am willing to share. I've been reading your blog for about a year now but don't think I've ever left a comment. You help me get my Rochester fix (we moved away 6 years ago). Do I ever miss Wegmans!

  2. Stouffers actually makes a welsh rarebit that is pretty good if you can find it. I can't find it Denver, but Wegman's might have it. It's not as good as a homemade version of course, but it will cure a craving.
