Whew... we are back from Toronto and what a weekend. We amazingly got all of our first pick movies and they were all great.

We saw lots of stars and discovered some great spots to eat. A new favorite is Crepes a GoGo. We stopped and had one every morning for breakfast.

Unfortunately we did not see Colin Firth. He wasn't there this year, he is busy making a movie with the-most-beautiful-woman-in-the-world... Aishwarya Rai, who wasn't there for her movie, Mistress of Spices either. Ah well, if you can't have Colin, at least you can have crepes.

Update: apparently Colin was there... he attended the premiere of his movie, but not the press conference for it, which is what threw us off. Shoot.

  5. Wow!! What an amazing weekend. I'm a wee bit jealous. We used to have a great crepes place in Madison, but they didn't pay their taxes... now we've got one in the mall near us, but it's not exakly cozy for breakfast.

Mistress of Spice and Shopgirl look AMAZING.

  6. Colin was here last night for the opening of his new film, Where The Truth Lies, which my luckypants coworker got to go see. You just had bad luck in missing him, I guess :(

  7. Interesting that someone from Rochester suggests restaurants to someone like me, who lives 30 mins from downtown TO.... Thanks so much. Crepes are on my list for my next trip to Bloor Street.

Next time you are here I would suggest Burrito Boyz. http://www.toronto.com/profile/874902/. Just south of Queen St on Peter. Tiny hole in the wall but it is sooooo yummy.

  8. I LOVE Crepes a Go Go. Our hotel was just around the corner from it during one of our Toronto visits, and I can't wait to go back. I'm jealous! They should open one in Rochester. Have you been to the crepe shop in Schoen Place? It's quite good as well.

  10. I am jealous that you were able to go! We lived in Watertown for a few years and made it up to Toronto as much as possible. Alaska doesn't have that kind of stuff :-(
