I have been noticing some products have online apps where you can customize a character to look like you and then do something cool with it. The Gap has Watch Me Change, where your character does a strip tease out of their frumpy clothes and changes into an outfit you selected.

Cheerios has Cheerioke... you call in and record yourself singing a song, then the character you build sings it. What that has to do with Cheerios, I am not sure, but it is funny!

The challenge for me is trying to get the character to look as much like me as possible. Too much time has been spent scrolling through selections of noses.

  1. I think the Cheerioke is a reference to Cheerio's new commercial for their yoghurty cereal... which features 'normal' people singing 'badly'.

  3. The funniest part about the gap page is how the bazooms bounce on chesty models.

  4. You should make your own version! I'd love to see your renditions of different people!

By the way, hi from a new-ish blogger! I don't remember how I found your site, but I love it! Your illustrations are so cute!

  5. I've been reading your blog for a long time, but I'm comment shy. You totally made my day with the Cheerios karaoke site. Being a stay at home mom has its advantages, like being able to sing into the phone and no one thinking you're weird. :)
