I have bowlfuls of pumpkin seeds left over from last weekends pumpkin carving party.

I found this recipe for Pumpkin Seed Brittle and am tempted to try it. If I do I will report back on how it was.

Unfortunately I will not be reporting on how the Jones Carmel Apple soda was, because we left it at my parents house in PA. Drat.

  2. We tried the jones candy corn soda....not so great :(. Hope that the carmel apple is better! We have the berry lemonade too, but are afraid to try it. Might just give it to the trick or treaters as our guests don't seem too into it either!

  3. I made several batches of pumpkin seed brittle as gifts at Christmas last year and it was very good.

  4. We tried the halloween flavors at my apt, and caramel apple was okay - a huge caramel after taste. The candy corn however, is something you shouldn't even go near =)

  5. We tried them all too. The berry lemonade and the strawberry ones taste like Nerds (according to my husband). The caramel apple was okay, very sweet. And you probably shouldn't attempt the candy corn unless you want to know what it would feel like to chew up about 500 little candy corns in one mouthful! lol : )

  6. I'm going to try the brittle. Hopefully it will be a lot better than the Laura Secord caramel apple dipping kit we did last week. Ick!

  9. The soda was pretty good....very spicy taste, but not a hot spicy. Dad really likes it...has a sweet tang to it almost.

  13. Thank you Jenny on behalf of my entire family who ate roasted snackjack pumpkin seeds last night. They are sooo good, and were gone in a matter of minutes. Unfortunately, I only bought 3 pumpkins... so I may have to make another trip to the pumpkin patch. Thanks for the tip!
