I found these really cute charms in the dollar bins at Target. They pop open so you can add pictures then hang them on your cell phone, zipper pull... etc.

Here is a useful tip for when you need a tiny picture for something like this... such as a locket. The index prints that you get with your photos are the perfect size!

I bought one of those today, too, at Target, but I can't figure out how it opens! Will you give me a clue? :)

Are those koosh balls inside the plastic bubbles at the ends of the charms?

Oh, these are absolutely cute - I really like the possibility to place pics inside! Great!

Wow, how cute are those!

And what a great idea about the index prints! I never thought to use them that way.

Willa - on the end where the ring holding the ball is... you will notice the plastic is cut out... stick something pointy in there and pop out the faceplate. Make sure when you put it back in that the flat side is down hand the curved part is out.

Emily - didn't you figure out... the green one is yours!

anonymous - no those aren't koosh balls... the liquid inside the balls magnify stuff behind them... its just the texture of my tablecloth!

Very cute! And thanks for the tip about the index print.

Just finished reading Pug Hill by Alison Pace, and thought of you. It was a nice relaxing read (with plenty of pug details and interaction) ;)

Using the index pictures for locket-sized prints has to be one of the best tips I've ever read on your site -- and you've given me LOTS of good tips! Thank you!

I am so bummed cause I went to Target after seeing your post and they didn't have any left! I was so upset I didn't even think of going to another Target :( I even looked and looked and looked online last night but couldn't find anything like it. Oh well, I guess I'll have to live without!

If these aren't too big, I think they would make terrific "tassels" for bookmarks!

I was headed to Target this a.m.m anyway so I headed immediately for the "buck bin" to load up on these baubles. Alas, the buck bins were empty .. there were big boxes of new merchandise all around though and staff seemed to be getting ready to stock new inventory. I waited as long as I could but they weren't making much progress. Will head up later or tomorrow. Tells you LOTS about how exciting my life is, eh?

Another great use for index prints is using them on a baby calendar. When baby does something for the first time and you catch a picture of it, you can put the picture on the date. I know you don't have kids, but it would also work for pets and friends babies =)

That is worth getting extra index prints when you're getting prints or a disk. You're so clever. And so generous:). You rock Jenny!

Awesome idea - I cleared out the Target bin and plan to use them for favors for a back to school party - as zipper pulls for backpacks.
