Someone in my neighborhood put this table out for garbage pickup and I rescued it. It didn't look like this when I grabbed it... the bright green paint was my doing. It's a lot like the pink table that was one of my first projects on this site.

You don't see this tiered style of side table much anymore, but it works great as a catch-all for our mail and other papers. I posted some pictures of it's creation in my project gallery.

I am so jealous of all the color in your home. I visit your site many times during the week just to get my color fix (husband is into all things earth-tone and gray--this is nice in moderate amounts).

Was thrifting on Saturday and saw your two-tiered table.

Very cool! I love how crafty you are! I also like knowing that I'm not the only one who's into salvaging stuff.

We had a two-tiered table in our first apartment, and I really still regret not liberating it when we left. The landlord had no idea what furniture he had in that house, but unfortunately, the good side of me convinced me to leave it there. *sigh*

My parents had a similar table when I was growing up. Cool to see one looking so snazzy in green like that. :)

I don't know if you watch tv much but there is a show called Junk Brothers and they take furniture that is out for garbage collection, make it look good and return it to the owners. I don't know if its started already or not but its on TLC or HGTV. You would have been great for that show.

That table looks so good now. I pick up random stuff all of the time. It's good to know that other people do the same thing!

Nice! Makes me want to go driving around looking for furniture at the curb.

I think that your table's twin is still living in my parents' basement! Green looks good on it :)
