Does this look familiar?

How about this?

They should. They are projects I did for Christmas 2005 and 2006. And I just provided them for the Christmas Crafts magazine that is in stores now. I had to create samples for the photography and write up the instructions for them. Not hard... but it was time consuming.

It was pretty exciting to see the magazines in the grocery store check out line... and so cool to see my stuff inside! I can say that I am "published" now right?!

Somewhere in a darkened boardroom, a shiver runs up Martha Stewart's spine. She moves to a window, staring outside but seeing nothing. "I sense something. A presence I've not felt since..." Her hand grasps in a fist and she charges from the room. She will compulsively make ten thousand cupcakes tonight, each one a perfect replica of the last and with frosting made from the tears of sugar plum fairies. Her assistants will find her the next morning prone on the floor, naked except for a few strategically placed doilies, and incessantly muttering, "The Empire, the Empire must go on!"

Hey that's great! It's amazing how tedious it is to recreate and document crafts, huh?

Congrats!

Thank you. I just figured saying "congratulations" was a little redundant after everyone else, so I envisioned Darth Marth freaking out that you were nipping at her creative heels. Of course we kid, Martha, if you're reading this. We still all love you here and will continue to slavishly buy all your fine products (please don't choke me from afar!).
