I saw this pink VW Bug in NYC and got really excited. Thoughts of trading in my 2000 green Bug raced through my mind. But when I checked the VW site, no pink Bugs to be had. *sigh*

I wouldn't mind one of these old school bugs either.

That pink Bug is awesome! Must've been a custom paint job.

Or maybe a Mary Kay salesperson? Although I thought they gave out pink domestic cars....

Yeah, those pink babies are custom jobs. I saw one driving around my town of Columbia, SC and if I wasn't blocked in traffic I would have so followed it. Beauti-ful!

Oh, I had one of those old bugs! Actually, that could very well be it, if it's still up and kicking. It was something of a nightmare, I never knew when it was going to start, so I would always park it on the big hill by work, so I could let it roll and pop the clutch. Plus it had no heat. Top speed 57 miles per hour. No reverse lights. Not exactly the good old days, but they were certainly interesting...
