Wow!! I think we got about 15 :) Pretty surprising considering we live in a very large development with a lot of kids. I guess they all go elsewhere for their trick-or-treating!
we bought a new house last year on a street that is off-the-beaten-path...we had no trick or treaters...I was hoping for a few, but 257 woulda been crazy...how many bags of candy do you have to buy to keep that many kids happy?
I don't think I could afford 267! (We hand out full size candy bars to kids we don't know and 1/2-lb chocolate bars to kids we know. Thankfully, we know only a couple kids.)
We had around 170 (I haven't done the math yet). That is down from last year I think. It wasn't too cold here, so I am really surprised. I have talked to others and they said they got fewer too.
I still had 2 bags of 250 pieces of candy left! (I am a generous at Halloween.)

That is SOOOO awesome! I only got 4, that is just sad.
Our box of 55 or so treats was already opened, we ate 4, and we turned the lights off when we had 5 left!

I got a big fat zero amount but I was glad because we were candyless.

katie - yes... we just had a few dum dums left in the bowl when we turned off the lights though.
