Monday, February 11, 2008 I am really excited about this project I created for work. It's a picture frame made from an empty Valentine's Day candy box. Now you can reuse your heart shaped candy boxes instead of throwing them out. Reduce, reuse and recycle! It's just the top and bottom of the box glued together with an easel cut in the back for it to sit up on. Here is a close up shot of the back easel configuration. You can see more pictures and detailed instructions here. (note: I have added the extra support arm you see above since I wrote up those instructions) I blogged about it on 1000 Words too. I ate a lot of chocolate while making these frames by the way.
