Memorial Day weekend we started our basement improvement project. We are starting with replacing the basement windows with glass block windows.

We only got two replaced but hey, they look great!

How do you know how to do all the different home improvement projects you do? If you learn from books, can you post some of your favorite home improvement books?

I'm glad you posted the chihuahua movie link earlier. I'm a chihuahua owner and had no idea there was a movie coming out. Looks really cute.

This really scares me...if there were a fire...don't you want an alternative way out...I guess growing up with Mr. Safety keeps me worried about these things

Anonymous: No offense, but Aaron probably ain't sliding his bulk through there without the situation rapidly devolving into the Winnie the Pooh scene from "Pushing Daisies". So, moot point. But if you look at Jenny's many house projects you can tell they have several exit points in their home if needed, luckily. But thanks for voicing your concern as I should consider that issue in my own house. :o)
