2008 Christmas Theme

I have given out most of this year's handmade Christmas gifts so I can blog about them now. The theme was "nuts".

I glittered many, many walnuts for accents on each box.

And each box was filled half with sweet glazed nuts and the other half with spicy, savory nuts.

Aaron made the nut snack mixes.

Stewie oversaw box stamping production.

How clever! I may have to steal this idea for next year.

I've been waiting to see this year's theme! I tried to guess based off the card (CSP & My favorite of all the pug cards we received, by the way). I bet your friends and family went nuts for their gifts! heh. Couldn't resist. :)

That sounds delicious, I may need to borrow that idea next year.

Yeah... the recipe called for the nuts to be baked in the oven, so we couldn't use the nut roaster.

Wow! I love this project! Thanks for sharing the photos. I used to make homemade gifts in mass, but ran out of time this year. I really love the glittered walnuts. Very creative!

Geez - why couldn't you be my neighbour! I'd love to meet another crafty 'nut' like myself, lol!

Cheers from Toronto!
