Cricket = jar labels!

I could hardly wait to use the Cricut Aaron got me for my birthday. Here is my first project. I made jar labels for my chocolate sprinkles.

It's funny how things work out. Aaron says he was planning on getting me a Cricut well before my jar obsession started taking hold.

It was hard to peel each teeny little letter off the paper backing. I scoffed at the tools I saw they carry for this, but now I'm thinking I need those. Then I will label EVERYTHING!

I can't wait to see what else I can what else I can do with my Cricut!

  1. If you ever get a chance, visit the Makers Faire. Perhaps its something Kodak could exhibit at as there were corp. sponsor booths, from what I saw at the Bay Area festival.

    Actually, I should correct myself and say you could be a one woman exhibit w/ all your projects, online and offline. You are so creative and funny. Perfect embodiment of the spirit of the faire.

  3. Thank you Linda! It would be so awesome to go to Makers Faire. I hope I have more free time coming up.. I haven't even been able to participate in our local craft show. One of these days!

  4. Can I just tell you how happy it makes me that you own enough sprinkles to warrant the (cute!) labeling of not one but TWO jars?

    Awesome. :)

  5. That's a lot of sprinkles!:-)
    I have not made labels yet. As for the tools - that little spatula is a BIG help for peeling off cut-outs and letters.

    Carrie - yes I am using the vinyl adhesive. Not sure how it will do when washed... I haven't had to wash any yet.
