I love the idea of a fresh start in the New Year - resolutions, trying new things, organizing. I just can't get into it right after the holidays though. I look forward to Christmas and vacation for so long and then become accustomed to the days off doing this and that with family, enjoying my mom's cooking, watching movies, that coming back to the grind is rough. So I take a recovery week. Last week I cleared my calendar, had a few treats, unpacked my goodies and puttered around. Recovery week is over and it's back to juicing, yoga, meetings and checking things off my list.
