The boys are at it again. Two pugs, two egg beaters and one bitter cat.

Canadian Squirrels

I know I have mentioned this before on my blog but I still can't get over the fact that the squirrels in Canada are black. How did that happen? How come none of them have migrated down to Rochester?

Of course, they are just as chubby and cute as the ones in our backyard. We stood and took pictures and video of this fella gnawing on a peanut for quite awhile.

Snail

I am in Anaheim, California a few days for work. I am so close to Disneyland I can see it over the treetops. It rained this evening which I thought was rare for this area? Walking back from dinner I saw this little guy crossing the sidewalk. Funny how if it's a slug you think ewwww, but slap a shell on it and suddenly it's an adorable snail. Keep on, keepin' on little buddy.

Skully Headphony

Here's another little gadget I got at CES. It is a wee speaker called Skully made by Headphonies.

I can hook Skully up to my iPhone or iPod and play music through him. Very handy... and cute.

Make your own sweet scene

I have blogged about the ridiculously cute Sweet Millions New York Lottery commercials before. Now on Sweet Millions website you can build disgustingly cute scenes.

Tina and I were cracking up because you can do things like add a snoozing kitten or have bunnies say Hi Jenny!

Wooly Bullies

My sister and I found a bunch of these caterpillars at my parent's house. We used to call them Wooly Bullies and we haven't seen them around for a few years.

They crack me up. If you poke them they roll up into a little ball.

My sister is good at spotting them.

Sweet Millions

I am so enamoured with the Sweet Millions New York Lottery commercials. There are billboards with puppies, kittens and bunnies all over New York city. Too much cute.
I tried to find the song in the bunny commercial but it seems it was written just for the commercial and the little bit in the commercial is all there is.

Lil squirt

I am in NYC for a few days for work. I always cut through Manhattan Square Park when I'm near there just to take a peek at the dog park. Look at this little squirt strutting along. Pip pip.

big winner

Remember when I was hoping to win the Kawaii basket at the Twestival? Well I did! It has a tote, buttons, a zipper pull and a t-shirt.

The t-shirt is really cute. It is also really big. Much to my dismay it was an XL.

So Aaron is enjoying his new t-shirt.

Gmail Theme

Did you know you can add a theme to your gmail account now? I chose Tea House to match my iGoogle page. The scene changes as time goes by.

I like seeing what the little fox is up to throughtout the day.

Mmmm noodles for supper. I think I would like to move in with him.

cute jewelry

Is it too early to start making a Christmas list? I love all these pieces from Figs and Ginger: Eco-friendly metal-smithing inspired by forests. The jewelry is unbelievably cute and made as an eco-friendly business.
These are my favorite items. The fawn on the ring is attached so it "flutters about". Adorable!

Giant Pandas in Beijing

Yesterday was extra awesome, because I went to the Beijing Zoo to see the giant pandas! Ack! They are ridiculously cute.

They just roll around and revel in their overwhelming cuteness.

Panda bear buffet.

Domo and Piglet were not impressed by the cuteness.

So excited to see the pandas!
I uploaded some video I shot of the pandas on 1000 Words Blog. Go look if you think you can stand the cuteness.
There were a few other animals... but they weren't pandas...

"Toss me snack!"

Bear butt.

Uh yeah... you could touch the zebras!

Shark attack.

Olympic Mascots

I just can't get enough of the Beijing Olympic Mascots! I swear it's like they knew I was coming when they designed them.

I don't know if I am going to be able to fit them all in my suitcase.
Some Olympic Mascot factoids:
- they are called Fuwa or "friendlies"
- there is a Fish, a Panda, a Tibetan Antelope, a Swallow and the Olympic Flame
- when you put their names together - Bei Jing Huan Ying Ni - they say "Welcome to Beijing"
- they represent five elements of nature - the sea, forest, fire, earth and sky
- each one is a color of an Olympic ring

In case I didn't have enough things I like to collect...

... here is a mushroom box from Decole....

... and a tray from Cram Cream.

I just found these mini bottles of honey. Barry's Busy Bee Honey from the Bee Movie. Just the right size for taking to work for my tea. And so cute.
Too bad DO NOT MIRCOWAVE is right across Barry's chin.
Thursday, December 6, 2007

I got these sneakery boots this fall in anticipation of inclement weather. They are so warm and comfy they make me sleepy. (they are Roxy Delano boots in case anyone is wondering) I think the birds are the cutest.
And my "tights" are actually thigh high socks from American Apparel. I HATE tights... one leg connected to the other... twisting and restricting.... ack! These thigh high socks are the perfect alternative.
