I talked Tina into participating in the Corporate Challenge with me... mostly because of our company t-shirt. (Joel and I brainstormed it, I designed it and Tina came up with the excellent tagline. The design was an old photo of a marthoner crossing a finish line where I put George Eastmen's head on his body, our logo on his shirt and underneath it says "photofinish". It won most corporate! But they didn't show the back of the tee in the winners photo. The back was the cool part! Oh well, we weren't happy with the print job anyhow.)

Soooo... I was feeling progressively guiltier as we sat in backed up traffic on the highway, then stood in a neverending line to catch a shuttle and then as we were drenched by rain during the race. I kept shrugging and giving her little "heh heh... how 'bout that" apologetic smiles.

Then as we approached the finish line... I kid you not... the sun came out and a gi-normous rainbow appeared in the sky. The picture here doesn't do it justice... it was one of those full arching vibrant rainbows with a faint second rainbow above it. I was nodding and smiling like I had something to do with it. Then we went and ate chicken and cookies at the company tent.

  1. If I'm not mistaken, look really good and you can see a double rainbow!

And Little J, I'll bet you did have something with that rainbow!

  3. Ohh, never mind that question! You are showing the back in your pic, but the pics of the winners just showed the tagline front, right? Doh!

  4. My mom walked for RIT and was able to complete 3.5 miles. I'm proud of her, because I know it was probably difficult. She said it was all worth it though...that double rainbow made her day. She said the food was good, too.
