I know if I drank it I would end
up sick
, but I can't help but be attracted to Babycham.
I was reading an article about London stores that are also clubs, and how everyone
in there was drinking Babycham. I thought "baby champagne"?

Babycham is a clear sparkling beverage made from pear juice. It first appeared
in the 1940's as a popular "girly drink" in the UK. It's easy to see
how that happened when it was packaged in "baby" sized bottles and
had a cute little fawn for a logo. I got caught up by the t-shirts and other
merchandise. After all this time, it is now back in style. I haven't been able
to figure out if they have it in the states or not.

You may want to try Ariel dealcoholized wine - it doesn't come in a cute bottle unfortunatey, but it has won a Gold Medal against wines in competition with wines containing alcohol. Ariel has the flavors but the alcohol removed using cold filtration. Ariel is a USA wine so it shouldn't be to hard to find.

if you like the fawn design, you'd probably like bran van 3000's logo & cover art. i even think they may make t-shirts and stuff with their fawn/bunny art. :)

cheers,

Bran Van 3000 rocks, and how appropriate to jenny's post is their song "DRINKING in L.A.?"

I love Babycham! It might even be worth being a tiny bit sick for! The loveliest thing is it either comes in little teeny bottles, or a bigger one, and if you get the big one it has a cork in it, so its like drinking champagne but cuter!

They do these beautiful glasses to go with it, a long stem, and the bowl is almost flat, and it has the little fawn on!

Soooo cute!

And would be so great for New Year's. You're right though, can't find anything about if they're available in the US.

I'm with you on the fawn fondness....heh heh.
