Last weekend was the six month wedding anniversary for Aaron and I. He brought me home roses and daisies in this nifty square glass vase.

They actually look very Christmassy on my dining room table.

It's getting a little crowded there with my poinsetta, two Christmas carousels and a mini tree.

  1. Hideous grammar alert!
"Aaron and I's" should be "Aaron's and my".

Sorry, I just couldn't stand it any longer and had to speak up.

  2. Wrong again...if you're going to phrase it that way, it should say "Last weekend was the six month wedding anniversary for Aaron and me."

You could have said "Last weekend, Aaron and I celebrated our six month wedding anniversary".

I really didn't mean to turn into the grammar police, but I would hope that you take it as a helpful criticism and perhaps learn from it.

Congrats on the half-anniversary, by the way. :-)

  3. That was turning into a regular 12 days of Christmas. Maybe you need a pear tree:)
