I am embarrassed to say that after I watched Chicken Run, I was craving chicken pot pie. Also, after viewing Super Size Me... I wanted a Big Mac in a bad way.

And so, after watching the little girl in Pan's Labyrinth slowly bite into big juicy red globe grapes... even though it was a bad thing for her to do... I can think of nothing else.

  1. I felt the same way after Super Size Me, even though I hadn't been to McDonald's in months and months. Probably not the result Morgan Spurlock was going for. :)

  2. I am with you on the McDonald's thing! The first thing we did was buy some fries after watching that movie.

  4. KFC has THE BEST chicken pot pie all for 3 bucks - they are huge (enough for 2 peeps) have a flaky pastry crust and are the best bargain around - and I am not a fast food person...yum...

  5. TV or movie food does this to me all. the. time. So I know how you feel.

  6. I'm reading Fast Food Nation right now and although the subject matter is really horrifying, the cover makes me want to go out and get some fries every time I pick it up!

  7. Totally with you on that one.

When my family saw that TV public service announcement "This is your brain (shows an egg), this is your brain on drugs (egg frying in a pan)," we all got hungry and trooped downstairs to have scrambled eggs.

  8. I felt the same way when I saw the Turkish Delight on the Cronicles of Narnia. It looked like a little jelly filled doughnut, but I found some and it's more like a gummy candy covered in cornstarch.

  9. I had to stop off for chocolate on the way home from the movie "Chocolat"!

  10. Pan's Labyrinth is such a phenomenal film. However, that scene made me never want to eat grapes again.
