I have a blue bug and do the same exact thing. I also take photos of bugs the same color as mine where ever I go. I've also noticed that Bug owners of the same color wave to one another every time they pass. It always makes my day!
I have a Corolla, and I can't help but park next to others - there are waaaay too many of us! Jeez. I want a Bug so I can be part of the club! (Orange convertible, black top please...thanks!)

ha, i have a bug and i always make a point to park near other bugs if there are any. they look even better in groups!

I always see Beetles in Target's parking lot though, it never fails.
Jeep owners do the same thing! :D
I do the same thing with my Volvo, if I see another Volvo, I park next to it.
